O-line was incorporated as a public company on 7 November 2006. O-line remained dormant until 28 June
2007 when it purchased 100% of the issued share capital of Hardware Industries and its wholly owned
subsidiaries, O-line Support Systems, O-line Coatings, O-line Support Systems Pretoria and Cape Support
Systems. O-line and Hardware Industries are both holding companies. The operations of the Group occur in
O-line Support Systems and O-line Coatings.
O-line Support Systems was established in 1982 as a supplier to the cable management and structural
support systems industry in Southern Africa, The O-line group is now a market leader with a sophisticated
distribution network consisting of a Head Office and a Marketing House in Johannesburg, its subsidiary
companies, namely, O-line Support Systems Pretoria and Cape Support Systems and branch offices and
brand loyal offices throughout Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
All of O-line’s products are designed, manufactured and supplied to meet the needs and wants of the
markets it serves. O-line has established and maintains a documented quality system in accordance with the
International Standard BM Trada ISO 9001 (2000), which ensures that products conform to specified
requirements and contractual conditions.
O-line’s team of highly competent engineering and technical staff understand the specifics of structural
supports and cable management and are available to assist with design solutions or technical queries.
O-line’s 8 000m˛ self-contained factory is located South East of Johannesburg on 14 000 m2 of prime
industrial land. The factory utilises modern machinery, materials handling equipment and technology of the
highest international standards which continuously ensures competitively priced, quality products.
O-line Coatings, specialist powder coater, employs state of the art equipment to provide guaranteed,
internationally approved powder coated finishes to O-line products thereby upholding O-line’s quality
commitment.
All the above is underpinned by a value system which commits all of O-line’s employees to succeed honestly
in accordance with the company’s Vision, Mission Statement and Code of Ethics.
O-line intends to list on the Altx of the JSE as a strategic step that will allow the company to raise capital to
aid it in it’s drive for continuous improvement through the purchase of modern technology in conjunction with
acquisitions of facilities relating to associated processes undertaken to produce a quality product. The
additional capital will also be used to expand into Local and Global markets through the establishment of
associated branches within Southern Africa.
The management of O-line intend to fulfil the company’s potential and bring it to the forefront of the cable
management industry.
